Asteria by Dheeksha is a counselling and psychotherapy practice dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, and affirming space for individuals seeking emotional support, personal growth, and psychological well-being. The practice is led by a qualified mental health professional with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, along with additional specialized training and experience in working with diverse concerns and life experiences.
The practice follows a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and inclusive approach to mental health care.

Please note that a session slot is considered tentative until payment has been received. To confirm your appointment, payment must be completed within 2 hours of booking. If payment is not received within this time frame, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the slot may become available to other clients.
Once your booking and payment have been successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email on your registered email address containing your appointment details and, where applicable, the meeting link for your session.
Asteria by Dheeksha does not provide emergency medical, psychiatric, or crisis intervention services. The practice is not equipped to offer immediate support in situations involving acute mental health crises, including but not limited to active suicidal thoughts, self-harm, risk of harm to others, severe psychiatric symptoms, psychosis, or other conditions requiring urgent medical attention.
In such circumstances, immediate in-person intervention from appropriate healthcare professionals is strongly recommended.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychological emergency, are having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, believe you may be a danger to yourself or others, or are experiencing severe mental health symptoms, please seek assistance from the nearest hospital, emergency room, psychiatrist, or other emergency mental health service without delay.
We also encourage you to reach out to a trusted family member, friend, or support person who can assist you in accessing appropriate care and ensuring your safety.
By engaging in services offered through Asteria by Dheeksha, you acknowledge and understand that counselling and psychotherapy services provided through this practice are not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care.
By accessing, booking, or availing any services, resources, workshops, or other offerings provided by Asteria by Dheeksha, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are competent to enter into a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and are legally capable of making decisions regarding your participation in counselling and psychotherapy services.
By using this website and/or availing any services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions (hereafter referred to as the “User Agreement”), together with any additional policies, notices, or guidelines referenced herein or made available through the website.

If it is discovered that a client is under the age of 18, Asteria by Dheeksha reserves the right to cancel or terminate services immediately.

Any such revisions shall become effective upon publication on the website or communication to clients, where applicable. Continued use of the website, resources, or services following any changes shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms. Users are encouraged to review this User Agreement periodically.
This User Agreement applies to all individuals who access the website, book services, purchase resources, participate in workshops, or otherwise engage with Asteria by Dheeksha.

Clients will be provided with a minimum of 15 days' notice prior to any increase in session fees.
All cancellations, rescheduling requests, and refunds will be processed in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy outlined below.
Asteria by Dheeksha reserves the right to modify or update its payment, cancellation, and refund policies at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the website or other appropriate channels and will become effective upon publication.
Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointments at any time. However, to avoid being charged for the session, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments or "no-shows," will be charged at the full session fee.
Each appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When a session is booked, that time is no longer available to other clients. Short-notice cancellations often make it difficult to offer the appointment slot to someone else, resulting in a loss of dedicated clinical time.
Clients are encouraged to inform Asteria by Dheeksha of any planned travel, holidays, scheduling changes, or other commitments as early as possible. Advance communication helps ensure that appointments can be managed effectively and that reserved time slots may be allocated appropriately.
Exceptions to this policy may be considered in cases of genuine emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, at the sole discretion of Asteria by Dheeksha.
Confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of the therapeutic relationship. All information shared within the context of counselling and psychotherapy sessions will be treated with the highest degree of professional care and confidentiality.
